Jeff Hunter

Prior to joining Northampton in 2023, Mr. Hunter was a senior advisor to the Infrastructure and Natural Resources groups at Apollo. Prior to joining Apollo in 2019, Mr. Hunter worked in Private Equity for Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners. Before Quinbrook, he was the Chief Financial Officer of Eastern Generating (formerly known as USPOWERGEN), a sponsor backed operating company of thermal assets in New York and Boston.

Prior to Quinbrook, Mr. Hunter was in a global consulting role on matters covering risk management, power plant project finance support, electricity market design and seconded management to power companies for PA Consulting group. Prior to PA Consulting, Mr. Hunter was in commodities trading for El Paso Energy as a Vice President of physical trading.

During his career, Mr. Hunter has served as an independent member of the board of directors of several public and private companies or affiliates, including: Vistra Energy, Green Impact Partners, GlidePath Power Solutions, Scout Clean Energy, Arevia Power, Texas Transmission Holdings, US Power Generating Company, Homer City Generating Company, Four Point Energy, Pacific Drilling, and MachGen Holdings.
