Rich DiMichele

Operating Partner

Previously, Mr. DiMichele served in various operating roles for Apollo and multiple Apollo portfolio companies. Through his career, Mr. DiMichele has also had a number of leadership positions in the energy and infrastructure sectors, including as President and CEO of CarbonCycle LLC, a carbon capture and sequestration solutions provider to the energy industry, and as CEO, President and Co-Founder of Palmilla Energy LLC, a midstream focused business. Prior to forming Palmilla, Mr. DiMichele held senior executive roles focused on midstream energy at Halcón Resources Corp. and Hawk Field Services, LLC.

In addition, Mr. DiMichele was President of two joint venture midstream companies between Petrohawk Energy Corporation and Kinder Morgan: Kinderhawk, which was focused on the Haynesville shale and Eaglehawk, which was focused on the Eagleford shale.

During his career, Mr. DiMichele has also held roles at Turnaround Partners, Inc., Cinergy Corp., and Enron where he served in various legal and managerial positions including as a Managing Director of Enron’s European and Americas units. While in London, Mr. DiMichele led the development of Sutton Bridge, a 740 MW combined-cycle power station located in Lincolnshire, U.K. Mr. DiMichele started his career as an attorney at Vinson & Elkins LLP.

He is a past member of the State Bar of Texas and has served on the Board of Trustees for St. Francis Episcopal Day School and Justice for Children. Rich holds a B.A. from Case Western Reserve University and a J.D. from The Ohio State College of Law.
