Theodore van Eck
Associate
Prior to joining Northampton in 2023, Mr. van Eck was an Associate at Nomura Greentech, an investment banking team within Nomura focused on mergers and acquisitions and private capital raises across the sustainable technology and infrastructure sectors. During his time at Nomura Greentech, he covered a range of opportunities across the power, renewables, and cleantech verticals. In this capacity, he was involved with transactions totaling over $1 billion across acquisitions, capital raises and other financing activities.
Mr. van Eck attended Brown University where he graduated with a B.A. in Business Economics. At Brown, he held several leadership positions, being voted Captain of the Varsity Tennis Team and President of Delta Phi. In addition, he was admitted as a member of the Engaged Scholar Program, which, through additional coursework, encourages students to contextualize theories, challenge assumptions and develop skills to positively impact communities outside of Brown. In addition to his studies, Mr. van Eck was an initial team member of The Farmlink Project, a non-profit which connects farmers to food banks, delivering millions of pounds of farm fresh produce that would otherwise be wasted to feed families in need.
